Full-text lemmatizing and xml:lang

Hello I have documents with text in several languages. When creating a database in BaseX I can choose *one* language for stemming for the full-text search index. Is there a way BaseX could lemmatize according to the elements xml:lang attribute? Best regards Kristian K

Uppercase ß ?

From Die Zeit, I learn that new orthographic rules issued by the Rat für deutsche Rechtschreibung specify that ß / esszett / sharp s shall now have an uppercase form. From the comments there, I learn further that codepoint U+1E9E has already been assigned to this character. Will the default collation used for upper-case be changed to map U+00DF to U+1E9E? I notice that lower-case already maps U+1E9E to U+00DF, in the version 7.9 on my disk. (Am I already that far out of date? Dockerizing a BaseX app

Hi, I'm dockerizing a BaseX app: https://github.com/openhie/openinfoman This has been done by others using an Ubuntu image but I'd like to do it with the official BaseX Docker image. I've had assistance here already (Thanks!): https://github.com/BaseXdb/basex/issues/1467 Modules can be mounted as volumes from the GitHub repo into the BaseXRepo and BaseXWeb container dirs just fine. But, there's an error suggesting that the namespace is confused when hitting the server, e.g.: Stopped at /srv/BaseXWeb/adapter.xqm, 3/85: [XQST0059] Module not found: https://github.com/openhie/openinfoman/csr_proc. I'm guessing that when modules are installed with 'basex repo install' the modules URIs are rewritten but this doesn't happen if they are only mounted. One solution is to install the xqms inside a container instead of mounting them. This fails because basex-api.jar is not in the classpath for the basex command inside the container. So, does this mean one must change the classpath/command to run basex for the container? If so, a hint here would be great and happy to educate myself. Best, Richard

PUT in Rest API

Hello, I have a strange behavior, using PUT method on Rest API. Hello everyone, When I was creating database from a ZIP file in BaseX GUI, I encountered this problem. "W:/10-004/10-004.ZIP/10/20081212000000001000000000000000LEPRSEN20081212EP004/20081212000000001000000000000000LEPRSEN20081212EP004.XML"invalid entry compressed size (expected 4294967295 but got 13733720 bytes) Anyone have seen this one before? Does the baseX validate the zip entries before importing them? maybe disable the validating can bypass this error, is not it? By the way, how could I debug baseX GUI in Eclipse and how to print the stack trace of this error? Thanks a lot!

BaseX ordered results?

Dear list We were wondering if BaseX always returns the results in the same order, even when using an XQUERY position(). In other words, if we only request the first 10 results as defined by position(), will this *always* be the same results, or is it possible that each time it will be ten different results? Validate XML against RNG schema

Hi all, I have loaded the RNG schema using function db:store and also loaded the XML in the DB which has to be validated, but i am getting the error, below is my code: let $binary := db:retrieve('onix','/relaxng/publishers-51cr.rnc') let $schema := bin:decode-string($binary) return let $input := db:open('onix') return validate:rng($input, $schema) when i run this code i get the error invalid XML charcter(20) so what i am doing wrong here. please find the attached RNG schema file and XML
