         If i have a dataset that is 1mb, what kind of computer is required to run the basex server? How about 1gb? I feel like the basex server cannot handle very frequent database query.

Reg. the general size of supported document sizes, you may want to check some statistics in our Wiki: http://docs.basex.org/wiki/Statistics For db instances taking several gigabytes, you should start thinking about better hardware. For smaller instances, commodity hardware is sufficient in most cases. Christian
