Hello everyone,

I have a question installing two instances on the same machine.

Does anybody have a recommendation for an installment,

especially in regards on where to set/configure the ports

(/home/basex/.basex file, start parameters, jetty.xml, etc.)

for the secondary instance ?

I am using debian 13. BaseX is started as normal user.

Goal is to setup a system that works similar to Solr replication.

Data is planned to be synched with rsync - or does there exist

some kind of replication I did oversee?
