Hi Max,
I am using BaseX 7.2. with a simple database(3 collections with 1 xml file on each) that was loaded in to the BaseX through a BaseXGUI.

The BaseXHttp was started with default options i.e. with out deactivating or activating any functionality.
I created a new 'database user' with 'admin' privileges and assigned that user to my sample database.
I am testing with Firefox Poster plugin to PUT a new XML file inside the database at particular collection.
