Combining? The lock may be transformed to a write lock by combining operations Similar to the internal database locks, write locks block all other operations while read locks allow parallel access. I’m happy to update the wiki but I wasn't confident enough that I’ve understood the 9.4 change to do it without first checking on the list. Regards, James
