[basex-talk] BaseX 7.1.1 WAR problems: Permissions and other issues

I am having the same problems with the WAR version of 7.1.1 as described for 7.0 earlier { https://mailman.uni-konstanz.de/pipermail/basex-talk/2011-October/0020 28.html }

There is duplication of the servlet.jar that prevents it from starting. Then after deletion of the servlet.jar, there are problems with permissions (I don't know the reason for this)

I would appreciate help in getting the WAR version working both with Tomcat and with Oxygen. Can anyone provide details of how to remedy the situation with BaseX711.war and also an 'idiots guide' on how to sort out permissions, connect Oxygen to the database, and access via webDAV and rest interfaces.?
