Sorry I can’t be of more help, but we at BaseX don’t know too much about the AppChecker-Project.
I know we’ve been contacted by Microsoft’s Peter Villadsen and asked whether he may use / pre-install BaseX for an X++ project at Microsoft, but since confirming that our license would enable Microsoft to use and include BaseX in their products we haven’t received any feedback so far.
Feel free to provide some more context :-)

I've followed everything laid out on their github: https://github.com/microsoft/Dynamics365FO-AppChecker. BaseX and the environmental variables are installed. But I am unsure about how to actually use it to check my code on VS.
Any help would be appreciated.
