[basex-talk] Final update on BaseX 6.8

Dear all,

the final deadline of BaseX 6.8 will be October 14th. Be sure this won't be an ordinary release.. ;)

Thanks to your feedback, our new REST API has undergone some more changes:

-- XQuery files that are stored in the database will now be evaluated instead of being retrieved as raw file. -- all binary resources will now be returned with their correct content (mime) type -- variables don't have to be prefixed with a dollar sign anymore
