[basex-talk] Installing Basex with Ubuntu

I'm having troubles installing basex.jar with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and OpenJDK Java 6 Runtime. I'm getting message that "It's not marked as executable" and not from a trusted source. Can anyone help with this? I'm still fairly new to Linux.
