I want to handle a set of XML files using the databse administration interface. I add the files to the base, I want to know how I can modify an XML file stored in the base.

Did you already play around with XQuery Update [1]? You can enter XQuery expressions in the DBA "Queries" tab. To see the effects of updating queries, the so-called "non-updatig expressions" are recommendable [2].
