example .basexperm files please
hello list are there any examples of .basexperm files for use with the WAR distribution or the httpserver? what form are the global permissions described for each user? [i.e. 0777, or -rwxrwxrwx, or some other form] Is the separator a space or a tab? [does it matter?] thanks Pete
Hi Pete, I’m sorry that this issue still seems to cause troubles. I haven’t verified it yet, but I've instead added a new issue: https://github.com/BaseXdb/basex/issues/613 More input on how to handle this properly, or how to specify the problem more precisely, is welcome. Hi Peter, I've added our user management such that the .basexperm file can now also be placed in the database directory [1]. In order to make this happen, you’ll probably have to add an existing .basexperm file to the WEB-INF\data\ directory of the BaseX WAR file. Could you try the latest snapshot [1] and indicate if this solves your problem? Hi Pete, .basexperm files may be created or modified e.g. in the GUI using the Database > Server Administration panel or using commands (as in [1]). hope this helps Arve [1] http://docs.basex.org/wiki/User_Management Am 05.01.2013 um 09:30 schrieb pw@themail.co.uk:
