Hi, I just downloaded BaseX and intend to try running the example code. For XQJQuery.java I am having problem. I get below error.

UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file.

I am trying to use the BaseX implementation of XQJ API only. I intend to explore the BaseX XML database related features later on.

Your Java installation is out-of-dated: Java 1.6 is needed to run BaseX.
