I just thought I would share this, as it was non-obvious to me. I wanted to use xpath expressions in a shell script pipeline, and was looking to see if there was a way to bind context to stdin. It wasn’t clear from the documentation, so I just tried the common convention of using “-“ and: Pipeline commands producing XML output “| basex -i- “ followed by a path or query works! And it works better that the PERL xpath command. — Steve Majewski
