Dear all, Starting with Version 7.0.3 (which might end up in 7.1), I have spent some time in reworking our command-line API. The latest revision is found at: http://files.basex.org/releases/latest/ Some of the new features: * a single dash ("-") is now supported to parse from standard input * multiple inputs, query files, queries and database commands can now be specified and will be evaluated in sequential order * spaces and commas are now alllowed in the declaration of variable bindings * variable bindings have been extended to support the Clark and EQName notations * arguments may now contain spaces if they are enclosed in quotes The new features are also documented in our Wiki: http://docs.basex.org/wiki/Startup_Options_(Snapshot) Everyone's feedback is welcome!
