Dear colleagues,
Zaza Zindel and I will host a session on
“Surveying Diversity: Methodological Issues and Best Practices” at the 11th conference of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) 2025 in Utrecht.
We invite contributions to the following topics:
• Measurement instruments that reflect the complexity of a diverse society
• Sampling strategies that capture the full range of societal diversity, including hard-to-reach or underrepresented groups
• Balancing the need for detailed demographic information with concerns about respondent burden, privacy, and research ethics
• Integrating diversity across all survey stages, from question development to data analysis
Submissions can be made via the ESRA conference portal by
20th December 2024: https://www.europeansurveyresearch.org/conference/utrecht-2025/call-for-abstracts/
