I should have said to Kate Larkin that the person specifications for this post are not quite right, as they stipulate UK qualifications. Non-UK qualifications would be acceptable too. The post is a new - we are building a new marine station and need someone who is both an academic and a diver to help run it (see attached).

Liebe Forschungstaucherinnen und Forschungstaucher in der Ostsee,
Frau Podbielski bittet um Mithilfe beim Nachweis eine neuen Seeanemonanart (Haliplanella lineata) in der Ostsee. Frau Podbielski ist Wissenschaftlerin im Bereich der Marinen Ökologie am GEOMAR – Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung und beschäftigt sich mit der Erfassung der neuen Art in der Ostsee. Frau Podbielski schreibt:

"...Das erste Auftreten dieser Seeanemonen-Spezies wurde 2012 in der Kieler Förde an Stegen und Pollern entlang der Kiellinie beobachtet. Hier nehme ich auch regelmäßig Proben und sammle Tiere für meine wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen. Mich interessiert nun die Verbreitung der eingeschleppten Seeanemonen-Art Haliplanella lineata...".
Hilfreich sind vor allem Meldungen über die Anwesenheit UND Abwesenheit der Art in den Tauchgebieten, am besten mit Koordinaten. Mit der Position der Fundorte besteht dann die Möglichkeit vor Ort weitere Untersuchungen durchzuführen. Interessant ist auch wo, auf welchem Untergrund und in Gesellschaft welcher Arten die Anemone lebt. Zusätzliche Fotos für die Identifikation der Spezies sind ebenfalls sehr nützlich.
Im Anhang befindet sich ein Steckbrief der Anemone, der bei der Identifikation von Haliplanella lineata helfen soll.
!!!Für den Fund von Haliplanella lineata gibt es natürlich ein schokoladiges Dankeschön!!!
