NACHTRAG / ERG�NZUNG Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, beim KFT-Newsletter September 2013 hat sich Fehler eingeschlichen. Bei der Auflistung der neuen KFT Mitglieder ist das Leibniz-Zentrum f�r Marine Tropen�kologie in Bremen zwar in der KFT Homepage aber nicht im Newsletter gelistet worden. Dies bitten wir zu entschuldigen und freuen uns, dass das ZMT 2013 ebenfalls als neues ordentliches Mitglied der KFT beigetreten ist. Ein diesbez�glich ge�nderter Newsletter ist beigef�gt. Aufruf zur Mithilfe beim Nachweis der neuen Seeanemonanart Haliplanella lineata in der Ostsee.

Liebe Forschungstaucherinnen und Forschungstaucher in der Ostsee, Frau Podbielski bittet um Mithilfe beim Nachweis eine neuen Seeanemonanart (Haliplanella lineata) in der Ostsee. Frau Podbielski ist Wissenschaftlerin im Bereich der Marinen Ökologie am GEOMAR – Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung und beschäftigt sich mit der Erfassung der neuen Art in der Ostsee. Frau Podbielski schreibt: ########### "...Das erste Auftreten dieser Seeanemonen-Spezies wurde 2012 in der Kieler Förde an Stegen und Pollern entlang der Kiellinie beobachtet. Hier nehme ich auch regelmäßig Proben und sammle Tiere für meine wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen. Mich interessiert nun die Verbreitung der eingeschleppten Seeanemonen-Art Haliplanella lineata...". Hilfreich sind vor allem Meldungen über die Anwesenheit UND Abwesenheit der Art in den Tauchgebieten, am besten mit Koordinaten. Mit der Position der Fundorte besteht dann die Möglichkeit vor Ort weitere Untersuchungen durchzuführen. Interessant ist auch wo, auf welchem Untergrund und in Gesellschaft welcher Arten die Anemone lebt. Zusätzliche Fotos für die Identifikation der Spezies sind ebenfalls sehr nützlich. Im Anhang befindet sich ein Steckbrief der Anemone, der bei der Identifikation von Haliplanella lineata helfen soll. !!!Für den Fund von Haliplanella lineata gibt es natürlich ein schokoladiges Dankeschön!!! [X] 2013 AAUS/ESDP International Diving for Science Symposium Call for Posters This year's mechanism to celebrate achievements of scientific diving programs is in the form of a poster. For long-term, established programs the spotlight will shine on sustained achievements in scientific diving and underwater research. For newer programs, many delegates will be interested in your activities and foci of interest. Given the international attendance at this year’s meeting, organizations will be able to showcase their programs to a much wider audience. Clearly, the effort invested in compilation of descriptive information of AAUS Organizational Member programmatic information can then also be applied to a number of other purposes to the individual program's benefit. If you participated in this program in 2012, please consider updating your poster and resubmitting for 2013. For organizations that did not participate, please join your colleagues in this event and take part in the celebration of AAUS scientific diving programs and the advancement of underwater science.
