Hi. I've installed the Windows Installer (9.2.1) in Windows 10. The installed shortcut points to BaseX.exe. When I click it, I see this message: This app can't run on your PC If I modify the shortcut to point to BaseX.jar, it runs like a champ. I haven't actually asked a question, but I guess you get the idea. The issue could be on my end, of course. Did you already manage to send a successful request via curl or via any other ways? RestXQ custom HTTP error code

Hi, I am trying to return a custom http error code in my rxq webapp (jetty embeded) like is the documentation : declare %rest:path ( "/teapot" ) function page:teapot() { fn: error ( xs:QName ( 'error' ), "I'm a teapot" , 418) }; My client always receive a 400 instead of 418. Hi, let $doc := <html><head><title>Example Title</title></head><body><p>Paragraph</p></body></html> return serialize($doc, map{"method":"xhtml", "version":"5.0"}) results in [SESU0013] Invalid 'version' value '5.0'; must be one of: 1.0,1.1. How can I make sure, I get the <!DOCTYPE html> and all empty elements closed? Hai Basex Team, We have already created one collection after that adding xmls to that collection, This process is taking much time and the total xml are nearly 2 lakhs. How to get performance to add xmls to collections. We are using basex(version 7.9) client server architecture with java technology to perform creating collection and adding xmls to collection. below two ways we are using to add the xml to collection 1) Using FileInputStream(When file size is small,less than 1 gb) 2) Using ADD command(While file size is large,greater than 1 gb)

A Tail Call, that runs (not) if different numeric values are being used as parameter

Hi, as far as I have understood, a tail call function must end with the call to itself, after it has calculated all the values and, upon recursive call, no operation must be open in the calling instance of the function. This is why the following case confuses me. The function, as shown, produces a stack overflow and I get the hint to do tail recursion. However, if I swap just the expressions (after 'then' and 'else') in lines 13 and 14, the function computes. Now I would have thought, that it would break, because I recurse within another function, that is still open ('concat()') and thus must return to the calling function after recursion, but, interestingly, the swap of the expressions after the 'then' and 'else' statements on lines 13 and 14 do not error out with a stack overflow, in spite 'concat()' still being open. Both cases produce an integer. Also, advice would be welcome, on how I can solve this.
