Hi, How could I get the current database name in xquery? I need extract the database input path and then concate it with the relative XML path, I want to get the current opened database name rather than specify it. How could I archive this?

I’m working on some XQuery code for language corpora and testing a function that reads a corpus and gathers information about its contents. The function works fine on the one-million word Brown Corpus, but it’s failing with an out-of-memory error on the five-million-word Hamburg Dependency Treebank (the XML for which is somewhat more verbose than Brown’s). Before I spend a lot of time trying to rewrite the code to reduce memory usage: Is there a quick way to give the BaseX GUI interface more memory? Once the code is more complete, it will make sense to try to improve its speed and lower its resource consumption (and at that point I’ll surely have lots of questions for the list), but for the moment I would prefer to postpone such considerations, and focus on writing code I understand. Data Access out of bounds error when running XQuery on a databse

I am running BaseX 7.9 (yes I know its old but for reasons beyond the scope of this we can't just update BaseX) on RHEL 6.9. The BaseX is not running any instance as a server but as a standalone application with its libraries being used with my java application. Hi all, I installed basex for keeping and updating XML files. Hi, please try this: xs:dateTime("2017-07-07T18:30:00.1") - xs:dayTimeDuration("PT1S") = 2017-07-07T18:30:59.1 ????? or that: xs:dateTime("2017-07-07T18:00:59.1") - xs:dayTimeDuration("PT1M") = 2017-07-07T18:00:59.1 ????? Hi All , i have to save the XMLs files from the DB but i am not able to do that below is my code, this code is generating only one kb file so can any one tell me where i am doing wrong let $localpath := 'D:/2017/doctest/xmls'for $xmls in db:open('test') return file:write($localpath,$xmls,map{"method": "xml"}) Note: i am able to do using import command but i don't have to copy all data from the DB i have to copy by URI Thanks & Regards Dharmendra Kumar Singh

Full-text lemmatizing and xml:lang

Hello I have documents with text in several languages. When creating a database in BaseX I can choose *one* language for stemming for the full-text search index. Is there a way BaseX could lemmatize according to the elements xml:lang attribute? Best regards Kristian K

Hi Donald, I downloaded the referenced zip file, and I noticed indeed that various of the file meta data in the archive is invalid: The first zip entry has 13732320 bytes, but instead of E089D100 (little-endian), the compressed file size is set to FFFFFFFF. Moreover, I noted that the zip entries are not really compressed (although they are flagged as such), and I can reducing its size from 1,8 GB to 40 MB by zipping it again. Thanks for the zip4j pull request. I tend to stick with the default Java ZIP streams, because it seems to work fine if the input is valid. Maybe you have any chance to unzip the files before passing them on to BaseX?
