Hi, The wiki-documentation of the 'map:new'-command in the map-module ( http://docs.basex.org/wiki/Map_Module#map:new) contains a typo in the third example: map:new -> Examples -> map:new(map:entry(0, "no"), map:entry(1, "yes")) should probably be: map:new((map:entry(0, "no"), map:entry(1, "yes")) Nothing much, but still. file:delete() and hidden files on Mac OS

Hi, I need to be able to export content to a clean directory. When I export content to a directory that used to exist, I need to wipe and clean to replace everything with new content. However, I am getting io-errors: Stopped at /Applications/basex/webapp/How2_StaticHTML.xqm, 738/30: [io-error] Path '/.DocumentRevisions-V100' cannot be deleted. Is there anyway from the basex side to allow deletion of hidden files or do I have to disable revisions on my computer, so these files never get created in the first place? Multiple update operations on same target element

Hi, Under BaseX 772. I have to run 2 update operations in one query (both concern the same target element) - first operation example: *replace node //tei:div[@xml:id="myID"]with <div ns:time='xxx' xml:id="myID">new content</div>* - second operation example:* **replace value of node //tei:div[@xml:id="myID"]/@*:time with "yyy"** * Both work when run separatly, but don't when are in the same query: the second operation is not executed (and no error message is returned) * **replace node //tei:div[@xml:id="myID"]with <div ns:time='xxx' xml:id="myID">new content</div>,** **replace value of node //tei:div[@xml:id="myID"]/@*:time with "yyy"* Any idea? different syntax for specifying the axis while applying a function

Dear basex people, I am new to this mailing list. So 'hello' first of all. In my understanding of xquery the following expressions should be equivalent /self::match/string() /string(self::match) But running xquery count((<match>foo</match>, <test>test</test>, <match>bar</match>)/self::match/string()) xquery count((<match>foo</match>, <test>test</test>, <match>bar</match>)/string(self::match)) in basex version 7.7.2 turns out to have different results (2 in the first case, 3 in the second). I think it should be 2 in both cases. This bug was found using functx:get-matches() which doesn't return the expected results in basex. Best regards. Jan

RESTXQ : returning application/zip data

Dear all, I 'm trying to return a zip from a restxq request with a (simplified) function like : declare %restxq:path("cnfull/aozip/{$doc-number}/{$kind}") %restxq:GET %output:media-type("application/zip") function questel:zipped-ao-request-by-doc-number-kind($doc-number as xs:string, $kind as xs:string) { archive:create( element archive:entry { 'blabla.xml' }, fn:serialize(<xml-here/>)) }; But the result is an invalid zip archive... bug/ strange behaviour in package-installation in BasexGUI

Hi, I encountered some strange behavior/bug when installing a package (Xquery module) from within the BaseXGUI InstructionPath: - BaseXGUI -> BaseXGui.Toolbar: Options -> Packages -> BaseXGui.PackageWindow:install When installing package (XqueryModule): test.xqm then the already installed package: testSet.xqm will be deleted from the installedPackageSet. Package: testSet.xqm has to be reïnstalled. I dont think this is wanted behavior. My guess is that it has something to do with versionstripping from the file name. Can you have a look at it? Hi, I try to extract the Cdata by the follow query: for $x in doc('input.xml')//App//package//text() return $x On the follow xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <App name="BasexTest_1"> <package name="main/resources/xml"> <![CDATA[ -- dd --]]>  <file name="input.xml"></file> </package>  <package name="org/basex/examples/local"> <file name="RunCommands.java"></file>   <folder>lib</folder></package> </App> and it is not return the cdata ,why ?
