using xslt 2 --- Unknown function 'current-grouping-key(...)'.

Hi, Following the http://docs.basex.org/wiki/XSLT_Module I'm launching basex as follows java -classpath /mnt/xslt_volume/i4EnrichV7/resources/libs/saxon9he.jar -jar /mnt/xslt_volume/i4EnrichV7/resources/libs/BaseX73.jar I get an error thought when executing which makes me think I have not convinced basex that saxon is there to use... Error: Stopped at line 14, column 48 in /mnt/xslt_volume/i4EnrichV7/analysis/xquery/AggregateSectionsTitleNormalized.xq: [XPST0017] Unknown function 'current-grouping-key(...)'. The future of db:create

I saw there was briefly 7.4 build with a db:create function and then this functionality was removed. Is this likely to come back for the 7.5 release? It would seem if HTTPLOCAL [1] is in use then the options for database management are somewhat limited? Hi Basex, I have written a query on an xml file which contains 13000 nodes ,query does some grouping action on that xml,when I run that query it is taking huge amount of memory and also processing time. Thanks & Regards Sateesh.A

Unable To Query XML document with Namespace Declarations

Hi All, I am trying to query an XML document which has some namespace declarations. But, unfortunately the query is not giving any result. When I try to execute the same query after removing the namespace declaration, everything works fine. Is there any way to query the document with namespace declaration? I am attaching the XML document for your reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ramesh

can restxq add a document to the db and return an http response?

Hi, Is it possible with restxq to add a document to a db? And if so, to also return an http response? Hi, Christian, Many thanks for your reply and code. I'll try your code and learn more about BaseX. Does your code use a full-text index? If not, it is expected to take a lot of time to query a large corpus with more than one million sentences. Is it possible to use full-text index for search attributes? That would be much more suitable for searching a pos-tagged corpus. Best, Sam

I've just installed BaseX and started using it. I just wonder if the following query is possible with BaseX. I have a corpus in an XML format, where <s> means 'sentence', <w> means 'word'. <s n="6"><w c5="PNP" hw="she" pos="PRON">She </w><w c5="VVD" hw="say" pos="VERB">said </w><w c5="PNP" hw="she" pos="PRON">she </w><w c5="VVD" hw="go" pos="VERB">went </w> <w c5="TO0" hw="to" pos="PREP">to </w><w c5="VVI" hw="buy" pos="VERB">buy </w> <w c5="PNI" hw="something" pos="PRON">something </w><unclear/> <w c5="PNX" hw="herself" pos="PRON">herself</w><c c5="PUN">, </c>...</s> If you create a BaseX database with an option of full-text, you can extract sentences in which the word A and the word B" appear within a designated number of words. For example, the following query will extract the sentence above: //s[. contains text 'buy' ftand 'herself' window 5 words] So this is my question: Is there a way to extract all the sentences in which a word of a particular part of speech (for example, a verb) and another word appear within a designated number of words, like any verb and "herself" appear within a window of 5 words. Dear BaseX-talk! I've seen functions more() and next() in description of Query mode, but didn't found it in description of Command Protocol. These functions exists? If Yes - then how i can call it through Command Protocol? Truly yours, Andrei.
